✂️ Workshops - Location
Our workshops are currently held at the Bulkington Community and Conference Centre, School Rd, Bulkington, Warwickshire CV12 9JB. This excellent venue provides an ideal space for our workshops as well as providing a beautiful lunch for our participants (part of your course fee). It is easily accessible from most parts of the Midlands and you can find more details on our contact page.
✂️ Workshops - Course Content
Our workshops are designed to cater for those who have no experience and those who want to develop further. Taster sessions are available to see if this is something that 'floats your boat' and these are followed by an 'Introductory Session' so you can get to learn some of the basics. These sessions are followed by a 6 week 'Developing' course where you will make and take home different items each session. Our 'Workshop Booking' page provides you more detail.
✂️ Workshops - What to bring ?
The simplest answer is just your machine ! However, at the 'taster' sessions we are able to provide a small number of machines for you to discover the joys of machine embroidery. We will provide all the materials, threads, designs etc for you to use to complete your project. Lunch is provided by us as part of the course fee - please indicate on the checkout form if you have any dietary requirements
✂️ Workshops - how to purchase, discounts etc !
All our courses can be purchased via our 'workshop bookings' page. You are able to purchase courses individually or in some cases as a series of sessions (eg 10% discount for our 6 week 'Developing Course'). Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refunds for cancellations which are less than 5 working days away from the course date.

Retreats
Deposit
The deposit is non- refundable. However, please read cancellation policy which outlines circumstances where a refund could be offered.
£50 deposit is required to book your place on a retreat. The balance is to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the start date.
Payment is by PayPal (preferred) or bank transfer.
Cancellations Policy
Should we have to cancel the retreat you will receive a full refund.
We understand that things happen, should you need to cancel, you will receive a full refund inclusive of deposit and balance (less admin fee £20 ) only if your place can be filled by someone else.
Deposits will only be refunded if you cancel no later than 8 weeks prior to your retreat start date ( less admin fee and at our discretion).
Full payment will be required if you cancel within 4 weeks of the retreat. We strongly suggest you take out course travel insurance in case of unforeseen events. If, however you can find someone to fill your place we will refund deposit & balance less admin fee.
Classes & Workshops
Please note that payment for classes/workshops are required at the time of booking and guarantee your place.
We reserve the right to cancel a course should there be insufficient numbers of participants. In the event of this happening we will transfer your booking to an alternative date or give a full refund.
We accept no liability for any other costs incurred other than the class/workshop fee.
Health and Safety
Workshops- please let us know of any specific dietary requirements in advance and we will do our best to cater to your needs.
Retreat – please contact the venue and inform them directly of your needs / allergies at least 4 weeks prior to the event.
Machine Embroidery Plus take all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of its customers.
It is important that customers are aware of others and their safety. Any Health & Safety advice given by Machine Embroidery Plus must be adhered to.
Machine Embroidery Plus cannot be held responsible for injury, loss or damage to you or your personal possessions.
Attendees must respect fellow participants and the ethos set by the providers.
Cars are parked at owner’s risk.
